To conclude the festive period and celebrate the New Year, the Civic Archaeological Museum and City of Savona is offering a guided tour of the Priamàr monumental complex and the archaeological areas found within it, allowing visitors to rediscover the city’s heritage by travelling through time and the history of Savona.

Do you know how the Nativity scene came about? It is a tradition widespread in all cities with ancient roots. Come and discover the history of this ancient craft and then build the figurines with us! The workshop is suitable for everyone and will be held on Saturday 6 December 2025, at 3.30 pm at the Civic Archaeological Museum of Savona. Let’s rediscover the Savona and Albisola tradition of handmade nativity scenes!

Hunting for photo shoots around the Fortress! The Civic Archaeological and City Museum presents this new educational/workshop activity, designed for children aged 6 to 12, which will allow them to explore the Priamàr Fortress in a new way: the children will be given a series of photos of some views and details of the Fortress that they will have to find and reproduce, allowing them to have fun exploring and developing their photography skills.
