Guided tours

The Màr offers a wide range of guided tours, carried out by the scientific staff: these include the museum route, the Monumental Complex and the underground passages of the Fortress. Our tour routes can be adapted and modified according to the needs of visitors.

Tours on request can be conducted in English, French and German.

The new programme of guided tours of the Civico Museo Archeologico e della Città di Savona is structured to allow visitors to choose their own way of enjoying the routes and to adapt them to their own preferences.

Short modules can be added to the basic modules; the short modules can also be taken individually.

Basic modules (1-2 hours)

Cost: 8.00 €

Reduced price: 6€ (under 18 years, groups of more than 10 persons)

• Guided tour of the Fortress
• Guided tour of the Màr
• Guided tour of the underground
• Guided tour of the archaeological areas of the Fortress

Short modules (30-45 minutes)

Cost: 6.00€ as single visits, 4.00€ combined with a basic module

• Guided visit to two underground area
• Naturalistic visit to the Fortress

Guided tour of Mazzini’s Cell

Duration: 20 minutes

Cost: 3.00€
