Home - Events - Opening of the exhibition ‘Primitiva’ – 5 December 2026
We look forward to seeing you on 5 December at 5 p.m. for the opening of the ‘Primitiva’ exhibition at the Civic Archaeological and City Museum and the basement of Santa Caterina.
The exhibition is part of the week dedicated to CeramicAbili 2025.
The initiative, promoted by the association ‘Un club per amico’ (A Club for a Friend), raises questions about the widening gap between technological and scientific knowledge and ancient knowledge about human development and the value of goodness and love. The exhibition is conceived, guided by the magic of the Màr and the spaces of Santa Caterina, as an encounter with an unknown planet and at the same time characterised by a familiar presence, “like a single body: works, exhibition space, creators, users”. The workshops on movement, rhythm and gesture are opportunities designed to initiate possible dialogues with one’s inner self.
5/12/2025 at 5 p.m. opening, round table discussion “Recovery and care of presence: dialogue between atmosphere and environment”. Led by R. Boccalon, M. Sabella, C. Vecchiato. 12/12/2025 at 5 p.m. expressive workshop “presence” 19/12/2025 at 5 p.m. expressive workshop “dance of the heart” 2/1/2026 at 5 p.m. expressive workshop ‘primitive expression’
